Cook - Independence

Job Description:

We're hiring a Cook to work at our Independence Head Start Center located at 35480 Sixth Street. This is a full-time, full year position, working Monday through Thursday. 

Primary job duties include preparing healthy meals and nutritious snacks for young children under the age of five, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with USDA program requirements.

The starting wage is between $15.41 - $19.29 per hour based on experience.

401(k) plan with up to a 6% match 

Employees can contribute immediately. After 1 year of employment, the agency will contribute between 3 and 6 percent, dependent on the employee's contribution.
