Updated 7/17/23 Rental Assistance is no longer available through the Wisconsin Emergency Rental Assistance (WERA) program.

If you have an eviction notice or are currently unhoused, please complete the Housing Services Pre-Screen Form and we will contact you within two business days.

To apply for Housing Stability Case Management services, plese complete the Housing Stability Application. These services include the following to help our clients improve their housing situation:

  • Eviction Prevention
  • Housing Counseling
  • Landlord Mediation
  • Fair Housing Counseling
  • Legal Services Referrals
  • Budgeting Assistance
  • Employment Counseling
  • Additional Specialized Services
  • Limited financial assistance may be available to help with attorney's fees and rental application fees.

Who is Eligible?

These services are available to anyone, regardless of income, in Eau Claire, Buffalo, Trempealeau, Jackson, and Clark counties who is at risk of losing housing. Limited financial assistance may be available to households earning 80% or less of the county median income.
