Birthday Box Donation Coordinators

Since 2010, Western Dairyland RSVP Volunteers have been assembling Birthday Boxes for children in Western Wisconsin. Each year, hundreds of brightly wrapped boxes are filled with cake mix, frosting, candles, colorful plates and napkins, and a few small toys.

The boxes are delivered to less-fortunate children staying in Western Dairyland homeless shelters, families enrolled in Head Start, and other families who are struggling to make ends meet. Our goal is to provide every child, regardless of their economic situation, with a happy birthday. Learn more about the Birthday Box program.

We need volunteers (groups and individuals) to promote the program, collect donations, and organize donation drives throughout the year. Our staff will coordinate with volunteers to ensure the most needed donations are being collected. Please click here if you are interested in helping with this or any other project.
