Wisconsin Help for Homeowners
Updated 12/13/22: Applications will be accepted until program funds are expended. Wisconsin Help for Homeowners (WHH) is a new statewide program that can help with overdue bills like mortgage payments, property tax, utilities, and more. The WHH program provides housing grants to owner-occupied households who have experienced a COVID-19 related financial hardship, based on income and other eligibility requirements.
Please note: to be eligible for this program, applicants must be behind on one or more bills.
Eligible types of expenses under this program may include but are not limited to:
- mortgage and interest payments
- real estate taxes
- condominium and association fees
- water and utility bills
- internet bills
- homeowners insurance
The property must be located in Wisconsin and must be the owner's primary residence. Vacation homes, rentals, cabins, and second homes are ineligible for assistance through WHH.
