Governor Tours Weatherization Warehouse, Highlights Reducing Energy Costs

PIGEON FALLS, WI - Governor Tony Evers is highlighting efforts to reduce energy costs for Wisconsin families. The governor toured Western Dairyland’s weatherization warehouse in Pigeon Falls Thursday.
Evers met with staff as they loaded trucks and prepared for weatherization jobs throughout the region. Also Thursday, legislation went into effect so Wisconsin residents will no longer pay sales and use tax on electricity and natural gas consumed in their homes.
