Family Resource Center Administrative Assistant

Western Dairyland's Child Care Partnership program is hiring a Family Resource Center (FRC) Administrative Assistant. This is a part-time, 20 hours per week, Monday through Thursday position. The wage range for this position is $20.83 to $22.00 per hour.
The FRC Administrative Assistant uses strength-based practices to support parents and caregivers of young children. This position focuses on program support through data collection, data entry, reporting, social media, marketing, and family event support. The Administrative Assistant helps families connect with community resources and child care services while assisting with outreach activities, parent programs, and promotion of Family Resource Center services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Family & Community Support
- Help families find community resources and child care options
- Share program flyers, resources, and information with families
- Support program activities by providing child care, assisting with food preparation, and collecting intake forms, sign-in sheets, and surveys
- Keep resource and referral information up to date at the Family Resource Center
- Support a clean and organized environment by maintaining toys, organizing spaces, and assisting with the setup and takedown of learning areas
- Program Promotion
- Utilize Canva to create flyers, posters, newsletters, and other marketing materials to promote Family Resource Center programs, services, and events
- Help manage social media posts and online program promotion
- Attend community events to share information about Family Resource Center programs
- Reporting & Data Management
- Track program attendance and participation data
- Use established forms to collect demographic information, participant feedback, and family pre/post assessments.
- Enter program data into data collection systems such as DAISEY, Form Assembly, and other spreadsheets
- Contribute to all reports by due date
- Keep files and records organized and up to date
- Other Duties
- Participate in Western Dairyland and CCP Meetings
- Understands and adheres to agency personnel policies
- Understands agency mission and represents same to the public
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- An Associate's degree in early childhood education, communications, marketing, business administration, administrative professional studies, or a related field is required
- Preference will be given to bilingual staff who:
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Have experience with social media, marketing, or outreach
- Are organized and detail-oriented
- Possess the drive to be a lifelong learner for ongoing professional development
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZATIONS REQUIRED
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have an insured vehicle
- Must meet WDEOC's insurability requirements
- Approvable Criminal Background Check
- Annual Registry Certificate
