Birthday Boxes

Since 2010, RSVP Volunteers from Trempealeau County have been assembling Birthday Boxes for children in Western Wisconsin. Each month, dozens of brightly wrapped boxes are filled with cake mix, frosting, candles, colorful plates and napkins, and a few small toys. The boxes are delivered to children staying in Western Dairyland homeless shelters, families enrolled in Head Start, and other families who are struggling to make ends meet. Our goal is to provide every child, regardless of their economic situation, with a happy birthday.

Request a Birthday Box

Birthday Boxes are currently available in Buffalo, Eau Claire, Jackson, Trempealeau and Pepin counties. Delivery is available in limited locations.

Option 1: Fill out an online form to request a Birthday Box. To ensure timely delivery, please submit your request at least one month prior to the child's birthdate.

Option 2: You may also request a Birthday Box at the Western Dairyland offices in Eau Claire and Independence. If you are enrolled in Head Start, you may request a Birthday Box from a Head Start staff member.

Option 3: Call the Western Dairyland office at 715-985-2391.

Donations may be made through our wish list, or dropped off at our offices in Eau Claire (418 Wisconsin Street) and Independence (23122 Whitehall Road), or at Cents & Sensibility Thrift Store in Independence.
