 The
Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Western Dairyland
is part of the federal Corporation
for National and Community Service. RSVP provides older adults
with opportunities to volunteer their time and expertise to help others.
Volunteers are matched with opportunities which best reflect their
interests, available time and preferences. Volunteer sites are varied
and may include: tutoring or mentoring children, youth, or adults;
emergency food distribution or delivery of meals to disabled persons;
working with nursing home residents; working with prison inmates,
environmental groups, museums, etc.
