Emergency Food Assistance Program
The Agency is involved in the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) which helps to feed the hungry and poorly nourished families in our service area. Each month the RSVP program organizes and oversees the distribution of emergency food to supplement the resources of local food pantries.

Who is eligible?
Families and individuals may contact the Western Dairyland office to determine eligibility. Income guidelines vary according to programs, but generally a household whose income is at 150% or below federal poverty guidelines is eligible for a variety of programs.

Thrift Store
Western Dairyland operates Cents & Sensibility, a thrift store that provides clothing and household items at little or no cost to those in need. Cents & Sensibility is located at 23798 Washington St., Independence. For more information about shopping, volunteering or donating to the store, call (715) 985-3301.
