Crisis Assistance Program

 Crisis
Assistance Program is a supplement to the LIHEAP
program which provides heating emergency assistance. Eligible families
can receive assistance to repair or replace defective furnaces, or
they may be eligible to receive emergency fuel deliveries. This program
is available to persons in Eau Claire County who have exhausted all
of their resources. Beneficiaries of this program agree to participate
in financial counseling and to develop a repayment plan to address
fuel payment arrearages. |

Homeless Services

The agency's Haven Homeless Shelters offer temporary housing to homeless families in Buffalo, Eau Claire, Jackson, and Trempealeau counties. Each Haven is a furnished apartment and serves a single family for up to 30 days. During this time, every effort is made by staff members to provide referrals and services to help families find permanent housing and to assist them in achieving self-sufficiency.
