Dotty Lillo is the Director of the
Western Dairyland Child Care Food Program and the Child
Care Partnership Resource & Referral. Check the
directory below to determine which of our staff members
should be called upon to help with your personal child
care request. Please call Dotty (extension 180) about
any other child care related issue! Together, we can
strive to make child care work using the following

Renee Ernsting is the Program Manager
for Quality Child Care Connections. The programs provide
technical assistance, business start-up, and training to
child care providers. It also offers curriculum units,
books-in-a-bag, a laminator, bookbinder, and an Accu/cutter
for provider use. Renee also administers environmental
rating scales to assist providers in setting up
appropriate environments and develops trainings. In
addition, she writes the Child Care Partnership
newsletter. Please feel free to contact her with any
information you would like to have published in the

Gale Holliday is the Child Care Food
Program (CCFP) Coordinator. Her responsibilities are to
direct, plan, monitor, and evaluate the operation of the
CCFP. She writes the CCFP newsletter, develops and
implements training sessions, provides technical
assistance to providers, and directs the CCFP monthly
claims process. Extension 185.

Sandi McMahon is a Child Care Food
Program (CCFP) Specialist. Her responsibilities are to
conduct home reviews of providers in St. Croix, Pepin,
Pierce, Buffalo, Trempealeau, La Crosse, and Eau Claire
counties. She provides technical assistance to
providers, conducts training sessions, and monitors the
monthly CCFP claims process. Extension 181. |

Cindy Halvorson is a Child Care Food
Program Specialist. Her responsibilities are to assist
in the monitoring of the CCFP. She conducts home visits
in Trempealeau, Clark, Jackson, Monroe, Vernon, and La
Crosse counties, provides technical assistance to
providers, and monitors the monthly CCFP claims process.

Cathy Meindel is a Child Care Food
Program Specialist as well as our
Training Coordinator. Her responsibilities are to
conduct home reviews
of providers in Polk, Barron, St. Croix, Dunn, Chippewa,
Clark, and Eau
Claire counties. She also coordinates the trainings for
day care providers
in the ten counties served by CCPRR. Extension 183 |

Bethany Wuerch is a part-time Child Care Food
Program Specialist. Her responsibilities are to conduct
home reviews of providers in Eau Claire county. Bethany
also helps in the office with the checking in and
cleaning of the curriculum units and other library
materials. She handles phone referrals and many other
office duties. |

Stephanie Ahrens is a Child Care Resource &
Referral/Child Care Food Program Data Specialist. Her
responsibilities are to update provider program changes,
recruit new providers, and provide parents with a
current child care listing to help them find quality
child care. Extension 188.

Elizabeth Moua is a part-time Child Care Resource &
Referral Hmong Bi-lingual Specialist. Her job is to
provide enhanced child care referrals for
limited-English-speaking Hmong parents and W-2 parents;
to attend CVTC child care classes with them; to assist
in the regulating of Hmong providers, to assist in the
regulation process, to arrange trainings, and serves as
interpreter. Extension 184. |
