Veteran's Economic Empowerment Program

The Veteran's Economic Emplowerment Program provides free financial literacy education to U.S. military veterans and their families.

Program participants receive bi-monthly counseling sessions for up to a year depending on need (many veterans will only require four sessions). In these sessions, our counselor works with veterans to negotiate their debt and make payment plans as well as prepare a household budget, helping them make sound financial choices. Veterans also learn the importance of saving money each month for future needs.

The overarching goal of the Western Dairyland Veteran's Economic Empowerment Program is to improve the financial situation of veterans in need. In order to accomplish this, the program will provide financial counseling to improve the financial literacy of veterans; to reduce their barriers to financial success; to reduce, and ostensibly eliminate financial debt; and to begin saving money for the future.

NEW THIS YEAR! Veterans receive FREE admission to our 13th Annual Women's Business Conference on April 21st, 2016. Call our Eau Claire office at 715-836-7511 ext. 1171 for more information.
